A Special Message for Pastors and Mission Educators

Dear Pastors and Mission Educators,

After 30+ years and 80,000 alumni, the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course starts another semester at in Metro Atlanta this Spring beginning the first week of February.

Why are we so excited about Perspectives?
To quote mission consultant Tom Telford, "Perspectives has a profound effect on churches wherever it is taught .... In almost every church I visit, if Perspectives has been taught, or the missions staff has attended the course, then they are moving and growing in missions." (Today's All-Star Missions Churches, p. 19)

Perspectives is endorsed by every major mission and discipleship organization.

What exactly is Perspectives?
  • A panoramic view of God's global purpose from 4 perspectives: Biblical, Historical, Cultural, Strategic
  • A dynamic 15 session study course on global discipleship, taught by outstanding experts and scholars, most with mission field experience.
  • A mobilization tool with proven effectiveness in moving the church toward the least and the lost and the ends of the earth.
Why encourage your people to take Perspectives?
  • It helps them grasp God's singular, unchanging purpose to bring people from all tribes, tongues and nations to Himself.
  • It ignites deeper passion for God's glory, invigorating their worship and prayer life, deepening their commitment to the local church.
  • It amazes them with news of exciting breakthroughs in resistant places like the Muslim world.
  • It provides a biblically-based lens with which to view history and current world events.
  • It helps them discover their strategic niche in global evangelizationas goer, sender, mobilizer, intercessor or welcomer.
Who might be a good candidate for Perspectives?
  • Is there someone you are raising as a home-grown missionary?
  • Is your mission committee seeking to grow its involvement in Christ's global mandate?
  • Are they seeking clarity of vision and strategy?
  • Are there Sunday School teachers and Christian educators who might be refreshed by inspiring speakers and new course material?
Would you consider sending them to Perspectives?

Christ came to "purchase men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation" (Rev. 5:9).

Let us purchase for Christ one large gift: a congregation aflame with passion for God and His purposes on Earth!
